Personalised learning plan

How does the personalised TCF Canada learning plan work?

The learning plan turns your results into a week-by-week list of actions (a reading test, a listening test, a writing task, a speaking conversation), each with a target score tied to your NCLC goal. When you miss a target, the plan adds a new test on the same skill.

Step 1: Diagnostic of your level

Your first tests give an estimated CEFR level and NCLC score per skill. The AI flags your weakest skills and sets a target level.

Step 2: A plan sized to your time

1 week (5-day pack), 4 weeks (1 month) or 8 weeks (2 months). Week 1 starts with reading and listening; from week 2 you get one action per skill.

Step 3: Actions with a target score

Each action is scheduled on a day of the week and prioritised by your weak skills. Miss the target and a different test on the same skill replaces it.

Step 4: Simulation every 3 weeks + reminders

A full exam simulation in weeks 3, 6… measures real progress. You get a report every Monday and a reminder after 3 and 7 days without practice.

What is a TCF Canada exam simulation?

A TCF Canada simulation is a complete mock exam: the 4 tests run one after the other with the official timing and question format, then you get a score and an estimated NCLC level for each skill.

  • Real exam conditions

Official timer, same order of tests, distraction-free interface.

  • NCLC estimate per skill

Scores converted with the IRCC TCF Canada table used for Express Entry.

  • Speaking and writing corrected by AI

Your spoken answers and texts are scored out of 20 with feedback per criterion.

  • Feeds your learning plan

Each simulation updates your weak skills and next week's actions.

Artificial intelligence

How does AI improve your TCF Canada preparation?

The AI reviews every answer you give and turns it into your next action. It spots recurring errors, corrects your writing and speaking against the exam criteria, and chooses the next test in your plan.

Diagnosis by skill

Error patterns per skill: vocabulary, grammar, global understanding, inference.

Speaking conversation, AI-scored

Answer the examiner out loud; your recording is transcribed and scored out of 20.

Writing correction out of 20

Each text is reviewed on 4 criteria, with corrected sentences and advice.

A plan that adapts itself

Missed a target? A new test is added. Finished your week? The next one unlocks.

Reminders that keep you going

An email after 3 and 7 days without practice, so your plan never stalls.

Monday progress report

Actions completed, scores by skill and what to focus on this week.

“Your test results must be less than 2 years old when you: complete your Express Entry profile, and submit your application for permanent residence.”

FAQ

What do you need to know about the TCF Canada?

What is the TCF Canada?

The TCF Canada (Test de connaissance du français pour le Canada) is a French language test run by France Éducation International and accepted by IRCC as proof of French ability for Express Entry and other immigration programs. It has four tests: listening, reading, writing and speaking.

How long does it take to prepare for the TCF Canada?

Most candidates need 4 to 8 weeks of regular practice to gain one NCLC level. On TCF Canada Hub your learning plan is sized to your subscription: 1 week for the 5-day pack, 4 weeks for the 1-month pack and 8 weeks for the 2-month pack.

What TCF Canada score do I need for NCLC 7?

For NCLC 7 you need 458–502 in listening, 453–498 in reading, and 10–11 out of 20 in both writing and speaking, according to the IRCC equivalency table for TCF Canada.

How long are TCF Canada results valid?

IRCC requires language test results to be less than 2 years old when you create your Express Entry profile and when you submit your application for permanent residence.

Can I practise the TCF Canada speaking test online?

Yes. Our speaking simulator runs the three official tasks as a spoken conversation: the AI examiner gives you each task, you answer out loud, and your recording is transcribed and scored out of 20 with feedback on each criterion.

Is TCF Canada Hub free to try?

Yes. Free practice tests are available for every skill without a subscription. A paid pack unlocks all tests, full exam simulations, AI correction and the personalised learning plan.
